After her current contract as chief financial officer (CFO) at Mohegan expires on March 31, 2023, Anderson has no plans to continue her job with the company.

Mohegan has already started looking for a new chief financial officer to replace outgoing one. Additionally, the operator will be providing more specifics regarding the transition in the weeks to come.

In March of 2021, Anderson became Mohegan's chief financial officer. She has held the positions of assistant general counsel, senior vice president of treasury and capital markets, and employee of Scientific Games.

Anderson worked as an associate for Latham & Watkins, Lehman Brothers, and Weil, Gotshal & Manges in her early career.

Mohegan praises Anderson's "instrumental"
"When my employment contract ends, I will be refocusing my efforts on my personal and family obligations, which is a very difficult decision," Anderson stated. The incredible chance to assist the Mohegan organisation is much appreciated. I am determined to help ensure a seamless and prosperous transfer.

James Gessner Jr., chairman of the Mohegan Tribe, praised the departing Anderson, noting that she had played a vital role in the expansion of the organisation.

In her leadership and strategic decisions, Carol has consistently demonstrated her devotion to the Mohegan organisation, according to Gessner.
